hey guys i replaced my old motor and pump with a new Eaton 7.5 hp 3 cylinder 2 phase pump with a true 5 hp motor.
so far i love it!
its quiet and it fills my tank in 5 min. and kept up real nice while sandblasting.
now since i am using my existing 60 gal tank, i had to weld a larger plate on top and measure out all of the mounting holes.
i have everything true and square belts are straight as an arrow.
i have the belts tensioned at the recommended 1/2" deflection.
my question is that while it is running, the bottom part of the belts seem to flop around excessively.
is this normal?
here is a few pics of the setup and a quick video
thank you all in advance
