Ive got a 65 Mustang convertible in the shop for restoration. Somebody has put galvanized tin riveted in the floor pan. It needs a entire fllor pan put in. The body right now is sagging just a little bit in the middle that the door gap is closed up on the top of doors. Not to bad but not good! When cutting out the floor what is the best support one can use to keep everything from moving. Keep in mind that this is a convertible. THANKS!

I would jack it up somewhere in the middle to get your door gaps than you need to tack weld braces in the door jamb.
You can also tack weld it to a cart attached at the pinch weld
