60 gal Upright Compressor

I need to purchase a compressor for work (a middle school shop room). I want a 60 gal upright because that is what I have space for. My budget is also quite limited, but I don't want a piece of junk like the Craftsman oil-less noise maker that just bit the dust. Keep in mind, we don't paint cars in middle school. Occasionally we spray a few small wooden projects, but mostly we use the compressor to clean up dust.
Maximum CFM is not a concern. I am looking for a fairly well made compressor that is quiet. Any suggestions?

To complicate matters, the school does not allow me to purchase used equipment. My budget on this is probably around $800.

I know this would not be good for a body shop, but I was thinking of something like this

I think Quincy, IR and Emglo all have compressors with similar specs for a little more money. I looked at the IRs, but they didn't have very good reviews compared to this Campbell Hausfeld.

I would go buy one of those used ones if I could, but that decision is above my pay grade.

I had a CH like that years ago. The pump shit the bed after a year and the replacement was on it's way out as well when I got rid of it. My I/R has been running like a champ for 9 years now, but if you're dead set against one, then my next choice would be a Quincy. That said, Crash is right in that at the budget they've given you is not going to buy much of a machine.

I agree with jim on this one..

And for the budget they are giving you it's going to be hard to find anything of quality.

Yeah, lower end Ingersolls are nothing to write home about, but I've never seen a Campbell Hausfeld that wasn't a total piece of shinola. Right down there with "Kobalt."

That one you want ought to be fine for blowing off small parts, etc.
