i was spraying the rear axle on my project with epoxy and moved my 'good' cars to where i always do - i guess the wind shifted and i did not notice and i got a ton - and i mean a ton of overspray on both

started to panic and things like "thinner" flashed through my mind - i suppose it was good "brake fluid" didn't eh? ;) (from one thread i read on here !)

Then i remembered "clay bars" - best of all Walmart stocked them - the only place open when i discovered the overspray - removed it all like a champ with hardly any effort. Her who must be obeyed - doesn't even know

I guess the hardest lessons are learnt from mistakes - thanks guys again for a great site !

Years ago I pulled the old T-Bird out in the yard and shot a bed liner for the neighbor on his new ford, a few hours later went to pull the bird back in garage and the whole car was covered with bed liner, I had just about figured I was going to tear the car down and repaint but the next day brought home a clay bar, took less then 30 minutes to do Glass, body and bumpers.
I now keep a clay bar at all times.
