White epoxy and older activator?

My activator is about 15 months old, but its still good and the epoxy sets up like its suppose to do. Its a little darker than it was when new and by searching the forum, I know this is normal. I sprayed some white epoxy on the inside of my door skin the other day and noticed tonight that it is slightly more yellow than the one a did a couple of years ago. I'm guessing it where I used the older activator. Has anybody else ran into this? Thanks.

I am far from the knowledge of the other folks here, but I had some black epoxy and activator that had sit quite some time (at the very least a year) unopened. After stirring a lot I used it on my truck's frame a couple weeks ago with no issues.

Yes, the age of the activator will definitely affect the color of the white epoxy. This could be a problem if it is intended as a topcoat, though that has never affected us since we don't use it that way.

Thanks guys. Crash, that is what I was thinking, just wanted to confirm. These are inside of a door, so no big deal. I really like the look of the white epoxy.

There's a gentleman on a Mustang board I frequent who had the awesome idea of always painting the area under the dash white so you can see better :)

Thanks Barry and Raymond. That is the reason I went with the white inside the doors. My car will also be white, but I did think it would be easier when trying to work inside the doors getting everything right.
