Which scotch brite color to use to scuff spi epoxy primer?

I have some areas on the inside of my trunk lid that will be impossible to scuff with 180 grit sand paper. The inside of the trunk lid has already been sprayed with spi epoxy and it's past the 7 day re-coat window.

I looked on line but grits are not listed for red or gray. What color would be best to use to scuff for re-spray of spi epoxy?

Thank you,

Here's a chart.

Thanks for the chart. This is the best representatiom of 3Ms pad lineup I have seen so far.

Does the grade matter if scuffing by hand vs machine? I will need to eventually scuff the epoxy in intricate areas by hand and am not sure what grade pad to use. I currently have Maroon[7447] and Tan[7440] hand pads.

Also, is a Tan pad sufficient to prep bare metal for epoxy in the intricate aeres? (I am working on a Karman Ghia engine compartment)

Cheers,
Emil
