just wanted to see some more projects....whats going on in your shop or garage ?

I posted my current project a 1956 f100 and here is a picture of how it sits today. fenders and bed sides are spi epoxy. The cab was sprayed with ppg shop line jp356 and I was not happy with the adhesion to bare metal and it is in the process of being removed, I want to do my project once, and that is how I found SPI .the hood, running boards ,tailgate, valance, grill, are next in line for epoxy. Then its time for filler, sand, sand, sand, wait for skin to grow back on fingers, sand, repeat.

thats where im at...as far as schedule I dont have one, I think its only wishfull thinking. 2012-05-20_12-40-29_36.jpg

Soon I will get back on the '31 Packard.

Order a mini belt sander to help speed up sanding the wooden artillery wheels (sanding by hand is tedious). Then hopefully get them ready for paint in the next few weeks.

some speaker adapters

here are some speaker adapters i made for my trailer. Due to the fact that the walls are only 1-1/2" thick I couldnt get any decent speakers in . To make it simple I ordered some spacer rings that didnt fit ,then decided to make my own.
Used some aluminum sheet, welded the edges ,cut the spacers on an angle ,screwed the adapter to the trailer, then the speaker to the adapter. caulked them in and thats all she wrote.IMG_20110805_173144.jpg
