SPI Epoxy primer, HoK BC25 Black Base, HoK Metajuls MBC 03 FF, SPI intercoat, HoK -----@--------- Silver and my Favourite product of all SPI Universal clear.

Thanks as ever to Barry for his unstinting technical support especially on evenings and weekends when he really should be taking a break.

Wow, that is some neat stuff.

One thing for sure i would not know where to start to play one of those but nice work!!!!

nice job. havent seen a 7 string tune-o-matic bridge. 22 or 24 frets? scale?

ive got a special build in the works. for a tribute piece.

Hi Sik,

Thanks for the comment - The bridge is a tone pros, I really like their stuff. The rest of the spec is below

Alder body
Maple neck
Ebony fretboard and headstock veneer
Stainless steel jumbo frets
Steinberger tuners
6061 aluminum pickup rings, string plates and control cover
Bulldog pickups - handwound by a friend of mine.

I came up with this design the tail end of last year and was lucky that Bill Kelliher of Mastodon was an early adopter. Here he is playing a six string on tour

I'm sure you know that the thinner the finish on a guitar the better and I'm finding I can lay down the universal clear so slick that it barely needs buffing - in fact since changing I'm using three less coats than previous products.
