What is the reason for the 1:1 ratio? I've never seen that in clear before.

Because of the amount and blend of Iso's along with solids, all related.
One of the iso takes almost 2.1 to get the same oh ratio as the others.
Good example is the 5000 clear activator I cut back on the one iso and there is no more room in that quart and it weights a lot compared to others.
Other than that the 5000 is nothing more than Universal with a 4.1 mix ratio and that is also why you must reduce that clear to spray.
