time for a new pan

well crap. looks like it is time for a new oil drain pan. this is what 18 years of trash thinner and paint looks like . thing weighs a ton . every summer i pour the wash thinner scrap in it and let it evaporate leaving nothing but the solids. beats spending a fortune on a removal service. this winter it will go into a burn pile while clearing land out back.

About seven years ago i had a 5 gallon steel pail at home I had dumped stuff in for 10 years, hard as a rock and full, once a year we are allowed to burn tree scraps and leaves but laws are only a suggestion (LOL) pile must be no more than 3x4, so I had about 14 ft x 6 ft high, starting to burn and I threw the pail on top, oh my it looked like I was burning tires and flames going 20-30 feet high, it melted the can to a clasped state and burned for about 10 hours.

you can see my burn piles from space. :) i have another pasture to clear this winter. about 7 acres of cedar and brush. it will vaporize this pan .
