Thoughts on this?- Anyone using this process?

I use an antistatic cleaner from basf. It's meant for raw plastic but I will use it on everything. It can be wiped on or sprayed.

I do find if I filter all the paints before going in the pps it is cleaner. The pps will push chunks through.

back in 82 i bought an ion bar to neutralize static. worked good until you sprayed air over the surface and the static reappeared.

Thanks Guys..
I was thinking more specifically of "him" spraying 90% + Iso on the panel, letting air dry, then continuing on with next coating...
Is this considered a safe practice?

I think it is likely ok for anything but base. I would want to do a test with base.

I do have some Sontara wipes that are a mix of deionized water and alcohol that I use as a final wipe on raw plastic. I was having a static problem with new bumpers and this step seems to help a little. They are made to be used in the same way as the SX103, wipe in one direction etc.
