Saturday I'm doing the final buff on a 9 month long project.......got distracted and the pad caught the antenna and then decided to mate with the fender..........

Just another feather in my cap! Shit definitely happens!

Dang, juice, that's a sickening sight. Stuff like that just sucks the enthusiasm right out of you. Yeah, I know the feeling. Very familiar with set-backs.
But really there is only one thing you can do -- fix it. It sucks out loud and drains your days but from what I've seen on here of your skill and mindset I know you will overcome . I know its not like a death or tragedy but I'll be praying for you brother.

Big things like that and the little things that happen everyday...starts to wear on you after a while. Nothing worse though than when mentally you think you are done with paintwork and something like that happens. Good job gutting it out OJ.:)

Stuff like that is painful and hard to take, I know first hand unfortunately. Just a little extra work and it will be back to looking like it never happened.

Hey now, hatred of polishing black is counteracted by the admiration of results when you get it done right. I'll be glad when my personal vehicle's black paint one day looks like that. At least I deleted my antenna.;)
We all sometimes work long hours till our arms & minds are ready to just drop. If I remember right I did catch an antenna with a buffer once years ago & it hit me. I'm ok though, all but my pride healed up.
