Thick flattener. Can I thin with reducer?

Hi all, I have some gel flattener that I bought about a year ago and it has gotten quite thick. Can I think it back down some with reducer? I used the last of the new quart I had but need a little more for one more coat. Will it be ok?

Sure can, it is suppose to be a gel and all it is is powder with a carrier solvent so if solvent evaporates, you can ad more, won't take much so add little at a time.
