Suggestions for First Full Repaint?

Yeah understood, I just wanted to get this part done for now while I save up for the right compressor. Ill hold off and buy once I find the right fit. Completely agree about the value, I got charged 2,400 to repaint a bumper and hood. It was insurance from a commercial truck that backed into me, but the idea they got that much money for 2 panels is what motivated me to start learning this process.

Unfortunately when you start buying tools and materials you realize real quick why things are as expensive as they are, there’s also a little thing called overhead. You’d be amazed how many hands are out when you’re in business!

Found a 13 CFM compressor for $50 from a guy who was moving away and needed it gone. Soldering some 3/4" copper together for condensation prior to water traps and filters which I wait for the high flow fittings and gun to arrive. For anyone going into copper from their compressor, what is the ideal way to connect the compressor to the copper? I have seem hydraulic line used but I am not sure where to buy it.

I used black pipe, but same concept thread a 3/4” ball valve on with female thread both sides, then sweat a 3/4” male thread to your copper and thread it in, teflon, and a little pipe dope and your ready to rock. Good luck
