I am ready to spray a car that I have ready and have a sand through to bare metal about an inch long and 1/4 inch wide, Can I spray sealer over that and go on to base and clear or will I have to go another route?
Are you using urethane sealer, or epoxy as sealer? Will you be sealing complete, or do you want to spot it in? I might not get to answer, but some clarification might help others, too.
Epoxy as a sealer will be fine. If you want to spray the regular sealer, just spray a reduced coat of epoxy over the metal spot first, wait 30 minutes or more, then spray regular sealer.
