SPI Reducer Temp Ranges

Morning All,

Question, what are the temperature ranges for the SPI Urethane reducers. I looked on the data pages and it was not very specific.

Thank you!

They aren't specific because there are other factors to consider, like what material you are spraying, and how large of a job it is. Small jobs can use reducer that would be too fast for big jobs. Primer spots can use reducer that is too fast for base coat spots.

You could use the last two digits of the part number and say that in most cases that reducer could be used in plus or minus 10 degrees Fahrenheit from that number, depending on circumstances. For example, 870 could be used at 60° for overall refinishing, and at 80° for a primer spot.

If you have a particular use case in mind, you might get specific recommendations.
