SPI MUST be gaining market traction!

Barry, your passion for your business and its products comes through loud and clear. Please keep doing what you're doing. I actually appreciate the naysayers -- I wouldn't know about SPI without them. One truly stupid person calling SPI names made me curious. A reply by Shine sent me here. My only problem is getting rid of the gallons of snake oil already purchased.

i bet that would be those wannabe's on the vette site. one in particular . 24 years old and an expert.

Yeah, with a boost from the Sir Ospho. I could swear there was a fertilizer odor coming from both places but that's impossible.

i feel some questions about production are too personal. already believing in the product, only application questions are pertinent.

I think this really says it.. As Barry himself said a couple pages back this had nothing to do with product application..

Try asking these questions to the so-called big boys and see what answers you get about how their products are made. Who else can you call 7 days a week for technical advice on their own products? In doing so, Barry unfortunately opens himself up to questions like this and I'm glad he takes it all in stride like he does. I'm sure it does get old. I just see it as a simple decision about a product. This forum should be enough proof to a newbie regarding how well the products work. My rookie opinion anyway.

if guys only knew how many products they are using that are relabled in another line from that same manufacturer, with the "big" guys. some of the products in their second line, is the same exact stuff in their "premier" line just 30-40% cost difference.

NO ONE even questions them.

Good point, I remember a PPG rep about 10 years ago telling me, right now we have one product under 10 different labels.
No one would dare question what they make, although last I knew the majors were getting their Hardeners filled by a company in Ill.
Yet little SPI does theirs from start to finish. Ask Ed on here as he saw us doing 4003 the day a few years ago that he was here.
Just can't be so.

I have just grown immune to what is said about us and as far as personal questions on here, if I'm uncomfortable, I just ignore the question.
