SPI Black

I understand that SPI has stopped their production of basecoats, but I was wondering if anyone had an idea where I could get some black. I was so impressed with the epoxy that if I could get my hands on their black base I would use it.
Ok, probably not going to be able to purchase any SPI Black base any other ideas on the blackest black I can get in a single stage. I was told and from the research that I've done that doing black in a single stage will out do a bc/cc. Any truth? I want the deepest black that I can put on a truck that will only be used on nice days and see some shows. Whats your opinion on using ss with clear added to the last coat and topped with a couple coats of straight clear? Any other opinions or suggestions?
 
The 50/50 color clear deal does add depth to the darker single stage jobs I've done but I haven't tried it with black, it also adds a glow effect to lighter colors when in direct sunlight.
