SPI activated base coat pot life?

A couple of footnotes first.
This is based on top-notch base coats and top-grade reducers, and a slow activator.
If you use a lower-grade reducer, stick to the 4 to 8 hours most manufacturers say.

Ist the OH in the base is so tiny; the base will not thicken or harden.
Here is what I found with four top-notch bases, and one was mine.
Stored sealed, the activator was dead in about 2 to 3 weeks, depending on the volume in the storage can.
Best of all, when iso went dead, it did not affect the spray as it was the same as adding an ounce of reducer to a mixed quart.

Would you advise to add new hardener when the time comes around to spray again?
