Sometimes its all about the playlist

Some parts of body/paint work are mind numbing tedium.
Tonight I'm scuffing the EDP on repro core support in preparation for epoxy. Couple hours of tedious detail sanding.
Playlist tonight is Bob Seger "Against the Wind."
Hard to be bored when Detroit Bob is rocking the "Horizontal Bop."

What are you using to scuff the EDP coating?

In '91/93 I got to hang out for a full day each with Ged and Alex. Even got back stage passes. I have personalized programs from each!
I HATE YOU!!!! I don't know you but I hate you. :D At least I had fourth-row seats for the "Grace under Pressure" tour. I was in front of Alex's amp so I couldn't hear out of my left ear for a week. I bet that's an experience you'll never forget.

As a Christian I shouldn't admit this but personally I love Led Zeppelin. AC/DC always gets me pumped up as well. Loved The Beatles since I was a little kid singing along with my Mom in the car. Lately been listening to the first two Oasis albums. The extended ones. Very good band.

Just cut about 8 inches of 180 grit, fold it in half and do it by hand. Red scuff pad for the tight places.

Just knocking of the gloss and trying to get a scratch for the epoxy.

I'm "openly Christian" as well and love classic rock. Most of it is about love and life.
I just take a pass on things that contradict my beliefs.
"Alexa, next song . . ."

Led Zeppelin was notorious among the charismatic and evangelical churches I grew up in. I've tried getting into Christian music but I've never really been able to. I liked DC-Talk when I was at Liberty as one of the guys was my room mate. They got kicked out of school because of the style of Christian music they played. Degarmo and Key (!!!)were banned because they got too rockish at a concert on campus. It was crazy how legalistic that school was at the time. Not as bad as Bob Jones University though. For those of you who have never heard of BJU google it. Guys and girls had separate sidewalks. All the kids who got kicked out of BJU then went to Liberty. :)

However, sometimes work is so boring for a few hours.and you getting tired of music. Then I turn some audio book or podcast. There's a lot of interesting to hear and learn. Last time was listening to Jordan Peterson podcast

Interesting you should mention podcasts.
I'm getting ready to launch one.
"Group W Bench."
How's that for a teaser?

Because of my very poor eyesight, I can barely read so I go through about one audiobook a week. I can listen to them while riding my bike, bathing, or just sitting around the house. However, when I try to listen to an audiobook while working on the car I either have to rewind the audiobook because I was too focused on the work and missed what was being said or I have to rewind my work because I was too focused on the audiobook and messed up what I was doing.
