Single stage or BC/CC?

First off, I am no where near ready for paint, just doing research at this point.

Car is a 65 Mustang coupe, original color is Ivy Green Metallic. I am leaning on going back to original color. The car is not going to be a show queen, car will be driven daily in nice weather, driven to work, Autocross events, maybe even left outside overnight, (well maybe not left out ;) ) This will be a home booth hobby spray. Trying to determine if SS or BC/CC would be better to do. I guess durability is what I am looking for, but would still like to have it look good. SPI Epoxy will be used over bare metal (I have a lot of rust to fix first) Suggestions for sand-able build primers also welcome...

Thanks

Rusty

Is it because of the dark green, or the metallic?
The metallic. Like Shine said that is a hard color to try to do in single stage even for the most experienced guy. JMO, but i feel any metallic looks better Base/Clear, a solid looks better in SS. If you don't have a lot of experience you don't want to try that color in SS.
