Seems to be a running theme, but how do you know when you're done block sanding?

This is how I know when I'm done sanding, I call Barry.

It goes something like this.......

Ring ring ring.....hello Barry speaking
Mike: Hi Barry, it's Mike with the Barracuda.
Barry: Hi Mike what's up?
Mike: Barry I think I'm done sanding, what do you think?
Barry: sand some more......click. :)

well it was decided for me today. doing the last of the finger sanding tight spots. this hurt like hell. took about 15 min to relax. came back several times. getting old sucks.

Yup... when you think you are done do it 2 more times is my rule.

That must be Good stuff metalman,

It's for Signwriters,
Not Signpainters.....

There was a Sign shop next to my dads shop back in the 60's and I use to go over and watch them letter trucks. Had paper masking with all these tiny holes taped on and dusted the paper with the 'bag' and removed the paper and vol-ah instant outline. Man,those guys were unreal watching them paint.Even with the outline, you had to be good at it.I know,I tried it.
Yep. Real artists. My grandad did lettering and gold leaf on the city trolley cars and fire trucks.
I knew a pin stripper/lettering guy that worked for Ed Roth. He drank gin and the more he drank, the better his work was.o_O

Plus the Paint was a LOT different Then..... Actually worked....

One Shot Today ,
Sucks...

He drank gin and the more he drank, the better his work was
Today they have Pharmaceuticals... Calmed you down and got the creative juices flowing.
Maybe that was my problem,I should have shot Gin instead of Bourbon....
