SEALER QUESTION AGAIN

I am almost ready to spray the current project car for my friend, I have only painted the trunk lid off the car so everything else will be painted put together. I used SPI urethane sealer on the trunk lid and want to use SPI epoxy primer on the whole car, The urethane is a darker grey than the epoxy. Will this affect the color between the trunk lid and color of the car? I am spraying Cromax Maroon metallic.

If you got complete coverage on the trunk lid it should not matter, but unless you put 4-5 coats that is doubtful. It is hard enough getting 2 panels to match even with the same sealer. Why did you use a different sealer on the trunk? Can you mix some black epoxy with the gray to get it the same color as the urethane? I would try that before I tried the straight gray or I'm afraid you are going to be disappointed.

I can use the same urethane sealer on the car no problem, I had the thought today to use epoxy because it is a better product but if it is a problem I will abort epoxy and stick to urethane sealer. Thanks for always helping me I really appreciate it.
