Rust proofing daily driver

I currently have the bottom of my daily driver in 2 coats of epoxy cab, bed ect. I live in New England where they put that nasty salt on the roads I want to make sure my truck is bulletproof before putting it back together.

My question is beyond epoxy is there a "next step" so to speak that I could do to help the longevity of the undercarriage from rust, like spraying it with bedliner or painting it. I have no clue I was raised in Nevada didn't have to worry about this rust stuff over there.

only way to do that is to move south. they have been trying to do that for 75 years. nothing works but washing that crap off daily .

bedliner is a good choice. it would be wise to pull the vehicle in maybe in the spring and fall to inspect for any spots that may need touchup.
add it to the maintenance schedule.

idk how it would go with epoxy, but a friend of mine has a '96 bronco he bought new and he sprays a mixture of used motor oil and gear lube on the undercarriage every fall. no other undercoat. I helped him replace the u joints 3 or so years ago and I was quite impressed at how rust free a 96 bronco with 98k Michigan miles on it was.

oiling was common when i lived in colorado. just about all coating would rust from underneath .

I use fluid film as an undercoating, it's the best I've found. The liquid deicer they use here is nasty I feel your pain.
