Replacing Mufflers???

I need to replace the muffler. Was curious if what the best options would be? Planning on replacing it myself but don't know much about it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

We have a muffler shop by us and for them to cut off and weld new ones on is so cheap and fast, it is not worth my effort to jack the car up and even get out the MIG welder.
I have two "loud mouth" mufflers coming now for the vette and I will be taking to the shop for them to do, if nothing else just knowing they are better welders then I am and I'm not going to die from carbon monoxide fumes.
