Removing Jescar (Menzerna) Power Lock plus

I'm going to apply some Carpro Cquartz 3.0 ceramic coating to my HOK clear coat, but I have applied one application of Jescar Power Lock previously. This paint is well aged, but has only 300 test miles on the car, always kept inside. Will the SPI 700-1 wax and grease remover remove this coating? I have some of that and it has worked well when I've cleaned before painting?

Depends if one of the cheap scams yes it will.
The better the product or I should; the more costly ones need to be sanded off, some buffed off.
Just remember not to blame HOC
When paint fails.

I tried to figure this out online, and for the life of me, I can't.
To avoid ruining you paint job, I would call the company direct
.maybe they can tell you if it will ear off in 90 days or what will and will not take it off.

Here"s my question.....Why? Car looks great as it is now. You keep it inside. These ceramic coating are either junk or go on so well that you can't get them off without sanding or buffing. If it's the latter that would really complicate things when doing a spot repair. Just unnecessary in my view.

Straight carnauba wax for me, thanks. If a paint job needs anything more to protect it, it's either a crap paint job or it's leading a really rough life, neither of which seem to apply to the OP.

Thanks for the replies. I have no issues with the Jescar product, but have several painter friends who have used this Carpro Cquartz 3.0 UK version and swear by it. I'll contact Jeff at Jescar by email and see what he says. I've also emailed the Menzerna office in Germany as they manufacture it. I think the Jescar product is a good product, but would like to try the ceramic coating. My paint though is pretty good with nothing on it, but I think this will protect it more from seagull crap that we often get covered in at shows here on the island.

Thanks Barry. I'll do that.

Jeff is the guy you want to ask at Jescar. Unfortunately they are closed indefinately due to state mandate (NY). They're number is 877-453-7227. Jeff's email is jeff@jescar.com I would both leave a message and email jeff for an answer. Good Luck.
Thanks for the info on Jeff. I did send him an email last night and he responded this morning. He said an alcohol based remover "might" remove it, but recommended doing a mechanical polish, which I had intended to do anyway. I'm not quite sure how to figure out if I have it all off, but I'll try a few things.
