Regular Build Sat for a While

I sprayed and sanded 2k regular build primer about 4 weeks ago, blocked it down to 180 grit. Finally have time now to move on to the next step and spray another layer to continue blocking. What do I have to do before spraying on another coat of regular build? Can I just give it a good scuff with a red scuff pad?

I am curious, would there be better adhesion if a coat of epoxy was sprayed on top of the scuffed 2k and then more 2k, or is it better to just spray more 2k over the scuffed 2k? Is sandwiching epoxy between layers of 2k a bad practice?

Epoxy wins everytime, hands down.
Good to hear. Thats what i have done where I needed more than one round of 2k (unsure if it was necessary).
Next novice question,
After freshly sanding 2k (or epoxy), how should the surface be prepped for the next coat? Clean with 710? 700? Just blow it off really well while wiping with dry microfiber?

Just blow it off, assuming you have no reason to suspect contamination. Do you where gloves when sanding? Jersey gloves work well.

I wear nitrile gloves, so i ahouldn’t have contamination. I have been cleaning after sanding with three rounds of w&g. Just wondering if that is a good process or overkill.

i like to wipe down no matter what.
even blowing off the panel and wiping with a tack rag i would spray a panel down and wipe it and there will still be sanding residue on the towel
