Recoat time for Regular 2k Build Primer

Wanted to spray two coats today but ran out of primer. Have another gallon on the way and supposedly arriving today but not here yet and I won't have time to spray the second coat today.

Tech manual states: "If sanded primer has set more than 24 hours you must scuff first with a gray scuff
pad or equivalent before applying another product."

My first coat hasn't been sanded and I want to apply another coat of the same product. Thoughts and suggestions?

You will need to scuff/sand it. The re-coat window is less than 2 hours. Closer to one hour.

Edit: I think one hour is about the max for Regular build. Might even be quicker than that. Irregardless you will need to sand before applying more coats.

Thanks Chris. I kinda thought that might be the case but was hoping it wasn't.
