Raw ABS

Any tips on painting raw ABS? As usual, I'm planning on using epoxy sealer.

One more: it's a deep red. White or grey primer? Ford D7

D7 comes up as Sunset Metallic for me, with ground coat recommendation of 2 parts white epoxy and 1 part black. This would be substantially darker than standard grey epoxy, I think, but I haven't stocked it in years.

But I think I might have the color wrong, old stuff is hard to look up.

Well, I haven't seen it. I don't have access to the Standox ground coat recommendations. Your info is invaluable. Thank you!

Standox doesn't have groundcoat recommendations except for PF sealer which only big shop nerds with downdrafts use, apparently. My recommendations are homebrewed and come with a lifetime of grief warranty.

The Standox tech said it uses the UG4 formula. Does that match your 2:1 recommendation?
