You just sprayed your first coat of clear on a panel, you notice a hair has fallen on the panel. You attempt to remove with tweezers, and tape but have no luck. What do you do?

Can you spot in more basecoat on this wet clear ??

Only thing worse is Trash in your Kandy......

Yesterday, I'm cleaning A slot body and notice a brown speck on the front end of the hood, shiht.
I grab a very pointed detail qtip and attempted to 'dab it out", succeeded in making a spot down to the White base under the Orange pearl. Apparently the qtip sucked up more than the speck. Foul,filth,foul,swear,filth..
Ok.. so I hammer that area with Clear to level it. On to spraying the other body. Come back for the second coat on the other body and..... Wtf?... It literally flowed the Orange and looked perfect. Yea!
It's always a gamble trying to remove trash and, Do ya feel lucky punk? Well do ya? Lol...
I got lucky especially going into the base but I did get a speck in the other body on the second coat of clear but nothing colored just lint or dust so I let it be and will sand and buff it.
I tried tape, once, never ever again. I do have a very small very pointed set of tweezers that has worked well I will use if I really think I can.
Front left corner of the hood. On this scale,it would be the size of a oil can on a real hood.
Little things for you are a Big deal for me.

Not a pro but I have been there and done that more than once.
If the hair is sticking up enough were you can easily grab it with some tweezers, you can pluck it out. However, if the hair is laying completely in the clear, you are only asking for trouble attempting to get it out.
Usually, in my experience at least, you end up messing the base coat up.

i made mine with a piece of 3/4 dowel rod. tennis ball on one end and a nail on the other. it has saved my ass more than once.

i'm a hillbilly , we call them a steady .
I wasn't familiar with it, so I goggled what you called it. That was what came up.:) I'll try making one too. TY Sir.
