Primer question

As I mentioned in another post my car has been epoxy primed and 2k on top of epoxy just the car not the fenders, door, hood and etc.
I have not done anything to the separate parts yet most of the parts has e-coat. Now the car as I said has epoxy and 2k that is PPG Omni
and I probably don't have enough to prime all the separate pieces and I wanted to change to SPI epoxy anyway and plan to use SPI med. red or the dark red base and probably the white SPI epoxy to seal. Now my question is the base coat on the separate parts going to have a different shade of red since they are not going to be done the exact same way or does it matter since they all will be sealed with the SPI epoxy.
Sorry for all the dumb questions but I just want to be sure.

if everything is sealed the same color, you will be fine.
i would think but just my opinion, if you are going to use SPI dark red, you may have better results with using gray primer.
but im sure someone with more knowledge will chime in on the subject.
but all in all, if you are sealing everything the same color you will have no problems

I would agree with Steves69LS3, if you seal it all the same color you should be fine, and dark red will cover gray much faster than white. And as a side note I never trust e-coat it seems hit and miss I would sand it off before you spray epoxy.
