Preferred SS with spi primers and topped with spi clear

Hi newly registered novice here but been lurking for a few years..current project is my 72 bronco street trail /crawler which is slowly being stripped and spi epoxied,,,,So locally I have access ppg,basf and nason maybe more, wanted to know preference brand and line?...will be competition orange ,,,another question I have a CA technologies RP spray gun that I havn't used yet for color and clear whats your opinion on the gun? thanks I think this is a great forum and so far enjoy spraying spi epoxy

all depends on what your looking for. if you want hands down the nicest single stage then i would say since you have basf avail then glasurit 22 line. nicest ss i have ever used. flows out like glass. i have never used any ppg single stages. if your going to put spi clear over the ss then there is really no point in buying something that expensive. you just need something that covers well, good quality and durable. try and hunt around for an akzo jobber and get yourself utech. i use the u500 all the time. great single stage. durable as hell, covers great and its inexpensive. if you dont spray it perfect it tends to be a little peely but if your going to top it with clear or sand and buff it then it doesnt matter.
