Porsche 911 my first paint job

R

rz2stroke

Shot the car in a blow up paint booth 3 coats of universal clear. Researched how to paint on the internet and found this site and learned most of the techniques I used reading in the forums and the SPI manual. ( The Perfect Paint Job ) This is the only clear I ever used and after the results I would be afraid to try anything else.

Looks like a beautiful job and a beautiful car. How did that blow up paint booth work out for you? I watched a few videos on them, some complained that overspray takes a while to evacuate. Other than that it seems you could make one work, if you set up some lighting inside.

I did add exhaust fans and could only put them on medium without sucking the booth in. I also has LED standup work lights that I moved around. I attached some pics.

Good deal man. A guy near me that I used to do a little mechanic work for on the side is buying rebuildable cars for his car lot. He bought an inflatable paint booth from china off ebay. He wants me to paint for him some but i havent had time. So its good to know that if I did go do some work for him some that i can get good results from it.
