Thanks, I was pleasantly surprised at how the single piece of 16 gauge between the brace and hood skin kept heat transfer to the outside skin at a minimum, almost non-existent.

I am really trying to swing going to one of the Tin Man's workshops next year. I think I can do a good job one all aspects of restoring an old car except for metal work.
