My 16 year old granddaughter rearended a SUV yesterday evening and my son is going to have to buy some front end parts. Hood, bumper cover headlight assembly and miscellaneous other parts. Where would be the best place to get these parts. Is there a brand that's better than others or is there any brands to avoid. He wants good quality at a reasonable price.

Those parts are inexpensive. TYC lights are good quality. CAPA parts like bumpers and sheetmetal are usually the better parts. I try to buy local aftermarket parts, if possible. Easier if deliverable. Check the part for damage, before paying. Ebay has everything, but can be a hassle if sheetmetal is damaged, and hoods are almost impossible to get a clean one, and shipping is high.

Look for a local Keystone. Keystone will deliver to you and like TK said you can unbox and check for damage before you pay. Stay away from Ebay or ordering from someplace where it's not easy to return. Half of these parts have damage on them from being shipped halfway across the world. Sometimes small, sometimes large. Best to inspect before you pay. Stay away from any smaller place that sells aftermarket body parts as usually they sell the 2nds and 3rds. Stuff that is garbage. Stick with CAPA certified parts.

Google Keystone/LKQ and your closest metropolitan area. They will be your best bet.

I would try car-part.com for the sheet metal, I have a pretty strong dislike of knock-off parts. Typically I can provide OEM parts to my customers at CAPA-certified A/M prices. I don't even deal in A/M bumpers anymore because I've had several comebacks where their primer fell off and took my paint with it. There may be a local shop near you that will help. While many shops aren't super friendly to DIYers, there's little downside to them selling you OE parts at discounted prices if they are a part of Toyota's price matching program.

You must have good suppliers Crash. Last place I was doing Collision we had a strong relationship with one of the biggest Salvage Co's on the East Coast and we could almost never get used stuff anything close to the CAPA certified stuff from Keystone. Not even close most of the time. Speaking of fenders, hoods, and BC's. I did about half the estimates there so I know that's how it was for us.

Around here at least we could often get OEM replacement for less than what places wanted for those items used. No idea why. Our main yard and the places in NC always treated that stuff as gold. Old days they wouldn't even sell any parts off a good FEA. They wanted to sell you the whole front clip. But that's when you could rebuild something without the hassle my State puts you through now. NC was similar.

Wrecking yards are pretty proud of some of their stuff. I didn't look up 2018 Camry parts but I was hoping they were plentiful enough for yards to have better prices on them. But I suppose I am fortunate for being in a rural area because there is a little freight operation that brings parts to this area from the SLC area for little to no extra freight, and many of the SLC dealers have excellent wholesale programs and are in competition with each other.

I worked sales at a salvage yard around 17 years ago or so. It was an independent small business that had been around for 50 years or so. When I started was around the time LKQ had started buying up all the independent salvage yards. Back then they had already aquired a majority of the yards and had ran the prices of everything way up, (used parts, parts vehicles, everything basically). They basically took control of the market.
