Quick question what are the tricks you guys do to get less dirt on your base and clear..
I do wet the floors, tack a lot,and clean garage before painting,,i use to have plastic on sealling but didnt see much of a difference.
Do graounding the frame works? Never try it.,,

In my conversations with Barry his advice is most dirt come from you. Wear a painting suit and something covering your hair. That is the best your going to do. In all my questions (my Coronet this summer was my first paint job ever, in my garage) comments were even in a paint booth you get dust nibs. At the end of the day they all sanded out of the clear in my case.

JIM.
On yor coronet project you did a flowcoating right? the will give u a better finish for sure when i do that final result is way better,, but i dont do it on collision that's what i did on this mega cab bed stripe 4 wet coats of euro clear. Pic after i was done spraying

I did not end up flow coating it. I got in the groove (and I was getting burned out on fixing my mistakes) and just shot 5 coats of clear one morning based on I know I was not that great and would be sanding a lot of orange peel out :)
