What you think about 3M Accuspray paint gun? I’m just a home hobbyist trying to find one gun that I can change tips out. Thanks for any reply’s in advance. KB9GIB

Looked into one since it had gravity feed pressure assist. Local supplier said he wouldn't give one to a friend.

They're not bad but certainly not a high priced/quality gun. I do like mine for primer. Primer ends up on the floor any way.
Pretty low overspray, made to spray at 20psi.
If you're doing small stuff, I think you'll like it.

Thanks for the information I’m trying to get one gun that’s good from A to Z if that’s possible? changing out tips. I’m just trying to restore my sons Demon. Thanks KB9GIB

Buy a decent base/clear gun and then get something cheaper for build primer. I feel you will be alot farther ahead having 2 guns instead of one.

Build primers in general seem to make more of a mess which is best left to it's own separate gun.

Thanks sprint 9, I been looking at spray guns was reading on iwata 400 said it’s a good base gun but what about for clears? I have a Cheeper

primers gun . but mostly just want one gun for base&primers. Also see the Warwick guns advertised thanks for any advice from a novice/beginner. Thanks KB9GIB

For primer get a vapor gun from northern tools. About $40.00 or so. I've used them for a while. I got one on Shine's recommendation. It's a good cheap spray gun that won't disappoint you. Available in several different tip sizes.

I started out with a Warwick 904, I bought it a couple years ago for a pair of bumpers to get my feet wet, its an ok cheap gun, but make the step to something nicer and the Warwick doesnt seem as nice as you once thought. I also have an LPH400 and it is much nicer than the Warwick, since I got the LPH I havent touched my Warwick.

The main reason I chose an LPH400 was the wealth of info on this forum, everyone seemed to like it, and all the settings/tips that have been shared come in handy. I use mine for epoxy, base, and clear, I have a 1.4 tip.

Ditto to the above. I used cheap guns for years. Yes, they work. But after buying my LPH400 1.4, I would hate to go back. I like it a lot.

I bought mine a year ago from Amazon for $359 but I do think they have gone up some.

very good gun. we use it for spraying CARC coatings for the government. Pretty much a coating that turns into concrete 4 hours after you spray it.

Thanks for all information. So I’m now looking at the iwata lph400 1.4 so what is the difference between (orange cap) vs (purple chrome) I’m just trying to get it right the first time and best place to purchase? Thanks again for all your help. KB9GIB southern Illinois

Purple cap is for metallic and pearls that are hard to spray, you probably don’t need that at all. Orange cap is for everything else except clear, buy the silver cap for clear coat.

can someone tell if this a legit add it’s sounds to cheep $337.95 everyone else is asking $100.00+ higher it’s on eBay under iwata lph400 1.4 I could not figure how to send the link. I do think everyone for their patients.
