lol i guess when you see the post topic i bet some of you guys say oh no here we go again....but no i know the procedure....thanks to this forum....i just want to know if ospho will cause any harm to cured spi epoxy if it gets on it.. im repairing the trunk lid on my 57 chevy.i treated the surface rust on the outer skin but havnt neutralized it yet..i have made my repairs on the inner side without the use of ospho....and i would like to seal my work up with a couple coats of epoxy and let it cure before i wet the the outer skin to neutralize i appreciate the input thanks

not really a problem but cover area with aluminum foil and put plastic or making paper over it, just to be safe.

It would be so much easier to simply neutralize (re-wet and rinse) the whole panel as opposed to epoxying the the backside, wait a week or more for the epoxy to fully cure, mask that, then re-wet the top side.

thank yall all is pretty much bare metal with the exception of some of the fibreglass filler....and Chris yes your right it would be a lot easier to do all at once...i just dont have help close by to help me hang it to coat both sides at the same time....i can coat the back side and wait till its safe to handle and flip it over....but still gotta wait on the temp to get warmer for epoxy....thanks again!!!!
