i have noticed more post around the web about online dbc . there is no way someone can sell dbc 50% less than a jobber. after reading some of the post i suspect it is omni not dbc. any of you ever see dbc at 50% off ?

Paint companies always protect their jobbers, so if someone is selling premium base coat online, it's probably fake, old, been opened, or at the least not authorized by PPG. I don't think any of the big manufacturers let their stuff be sold online.

I buy DBC through TCP global online its cheaper than my local jobber, example red for that 69 corvette was around 900 a gallon local and I got it for 680 from TCP

There seems to be exceptions for jobbers too though, example Keystone delivers PPG to anywhere in Upper Michigan it seems regardless of territory. If I think the local jobber is jacking the price I call Keystone for a comparison-they deliver too. I think Keystone covers the whole country-not sure if they sell PPG everywhere though

Anybody know if the DAU Delton line is available anywhere in the country anymore? I have to do some single stage metallic stripes and I know DBU, Omni, and DAU are the only ppg lines with the old style metallic. I think I'd take DAU over DCC any day of the week judging by how my work from the late 80's early 90's has held up.

i have seen stuff like this before and when you get the paint its pre-reduced. they basically water it down making it way cheaper so read the fine print. tcp global does this with some hok.
