What year of vette.? Not sure which type of plastic they use. Adhesives may work well for just a crack, but where suitable , welding plastic can be far superior in strength.. For any plastic repair, you loose some of the molecular crosslink of the original product, so extra thickness or other reinforcements on the backside are usually appropriate.
