New Use for 710

['68 Coronet R/T]

Today I was having to clean front end parts for my 4x4 truck.
Took one of the locking hubs apart and it was coated in gook. After trying some other cleaners I decided to give the 710 a try. I was amazed at how just squirting it on the components made the grease and grime just float away. Quick wipe with a shop towel and I was done.

Is removing grease really a new use for a wax and grease remover?

Yes but I have always thought of it as specific to Automotive painting.

Needed to clean this locking hub:

Removed the inside components and things were worse than I thought.

Here's the inside after the W&G remover was squirted in there a couple of times:

Everything cleaned up real nice, so I thought SPI should get some credit for a great multi-use product.

Put it in a sprayer and you have brake clean lol
