New Makita buffer

I bought this new and never used it. Still in original box and packaging. It's about 8 months old and I ended up getting a flex and no longer need this.

Makita model 9227cx3
7" sander-polisher kit

Comes with variable polisher, 7" wool pad, another 7" fine wool pad, and a nylon bag

$180 shipped

Yes, so far I've rubbed about 3/4 of a 59' Cadillac Limo with it and I like it. Only reason I bought it was the weight. Been doing this long enough I spoil myself when I can.

I don't like how hot it gets but if it lasts then it doesn't matter.

shine what flex ya usin.was considering a pe 14 bur they suggest 6" backing plate not 7.i use 3m superbuff pads thek pe14 is up to the task.thanks for any input as your knowledge and no bullshit is always appreciated.long live the allman brothers lol

that's the smaller version of the pe14???? have you had any probs when compounding with it.

the only difference is amps and weight. the pe14 is a lb heavier . both are 1400 watt i think .

do you think I could run the 3n superbuff double sided pads with it.i read they tend to run pretty hot when running larger pads which made me think they didn't have the power to run the bigger pads.

I love me some Allman Brothers
