New cans for urethane reducers:

There is one company that makes the F-Style can that uses the Reinke 57mm plastic cap as over the years they bought out their 2 other competitors.
Over the years we have had issues where once in a while when shipped UPS or FedEx the contents would leak but never on a truck line.
So years ago we thought we were doing everyone a favor and went to the large cap on reducers, a lot of people did not like well we're going back to the 32mm size in hopes that this will eliminate the occasional leak problem.
Thicker items like clears epoxy activators are not a problem but the heat and expansion with the reducers can be.
This change is being fazed in, so you may get both for a while as we normally have 300 gallons of each speed in stock.

Here is can.

Thanks for feed back, I was worried about going to the small top as we had years ago.

I got special spouts for the wide-mouth cans so they'd be easier to control. Lots of times we make very small amounts of material, so amounts of reducer less than a half ounce have to be poured accurately. The small tops will be a welcome change to me.

Honestly you can put it in any can you like, as long as what's inside the can stays the best in the business! :)

Thanks crash, when we went to the large caps years ago on reducers, cost me more but thought doing everyone a favor, turns out majority hated idea but i was to heavily invested at time to stop

I let it go but leaks just cannot be put up with and i won't put up with it.

It will be nice getting pristine looking gallons all the time, last order I got the 0885 I had to retape all the labels cause of the spilling. All the shops I sell reducer to buy it in 5 gallon pail but keep one of the big cap gallons to pour into so I’ll make sure to start selling funnels now lol

New reducer, 710 and epoxy activater cans are now in use.
I bought every f-style can with black handle that was in the country, than bought 2800 cans with stationary handles.
So at this point you could get the old wide mouth or one of the 2 new ones.
So you know we have tested every wide mouth for leaks so shipping ones are non leaking.
I want feed back as you use these new cans as to what one you like best asap. If the vote is the black handle i will order the container full from Italy and could take a month. The regular handle can is dime a dozen so will use in meantime.

I usually turn cans sideways to pour, so the swinging handle would not be good for me. I like the good old metal handle, but it's not really that important.

My vote is for whatever keeps the costs down! :D:D Maybe make it an option if one wants the "good old one" as crash called it or the swivel? It'd be cool and convenient if the swivel handle would swivel to the position that crash speaks of as that's how i pour as well.

My 0.02

I've been thinking about the way I usually hoist a reducer can into position, and to tell the truth, I am not hanging onto the handle at the moment of pouring, so it really doesn't matter at all to me. I guess everyone is different, though.

wanda cans have the black style handle. i find myself never grabbing it and when i pour with it i find the hinged handle awkward and it pinches my fingers as i lift the bottom of the can upward. metal handle for me please.

Got it!
Neither can would have changed the cost, going to small cap save me can and cap included around 50 cents a can.
Metal handle it will be.
Again thanks for helping me out.

We just received a big mouth can of 885 that leaked and melted a bunch of peanuts, so this change can't come soon enough, apparently.

Ouch, sorry about that we tested every can for leaks but this one got away, no biggie next time tell them and they will replace.
