Frame and bumpers SPI epoxy only, body was epoxied after full sandblast, then Reg. build SPI primer. Base coat is standox, cleared with Production clear.

RenewAP, I see you painted the frame in epoxy. It seems quite a bit darker than SPI gray. I assume you mixed some white and black or gray and black to get the desired shade. I plan on doing just that for the undercarriage and engine bay on my Falcon Sprint Project. I did some spray out cards and came up with 6 Parts white and one part black. It appears the shade you have isn't too far from what I am shooting for. Curious as to what mixture ratio you used.

Frame was 50 / 50 - black / white, The brackets... I just winged it, with the intention of having several different shades of parts groups. The bumpers , spare carrier, and prop rod are the only items 100% black. I used a little red oxide in most of my mixes to give them a brown shade. This truck is going to be used daily on a cattle ranch. So durability and simple were the main goals.
