"My Classic Car" Stardom

You mean 12:08? That looks to be the clear has swirls on it. You can see them on the orange and black at that point. When looking at orange only, it doesn't show as you are being blinded... :D

I'd say some claybar or other such detailing black magic...

I saw the swirls but first off, good presentation Jim! :)
I'd try v36 on a black hex logic pad. Should get them right out. Try medium speed light pressure.
Congrats again!

You have to look just right but of course the camera was "just right".....

16:04? Where did I get that? That is the end of the damn video!

Funny but true, that color..... man that color....... Barry's As Orange As I Can Get It Orange.... BAOAICGIO

Wow, Jim, I'm speechless.
What a fantastic job you did and the original engine, I love it.
You know he thought it would be a 440 or Hemi, lol

I noticed the swirls over the black immediately for that split second, it was just the right camera angle & reflection to catch it. Looks perfect all day long from most other angles.
Plenty of high end show cars have em. There were a few episodes of a show on discovery channel where Mike from car geek.com & a crew took showcars & final perfected them for big shows. Could just pay them about 10k to prep it for your next big appearance.:(
Honestly, I'm a little lazy about that last percent or so of paint perfection for my personal black paint, Fla sand just scratches it again.

Only about 1000 of the 11000 made where 383's. I had a chance to buy one here in Tucson that came from Palm Desert California but I just could not make myself buy another one :).

What a great show! Huge variety of vehicles and casual, yet respectful atmosphere. Look forward to seeing the Family Trio side by side next year.

Job well done, Jim!

I have not been to an uptight show in Arizona. I am sure there is drama at some of them in the background but most of us in the SW are exactly that casual and respectful of others work and effort.
