Must you prime again over seam sealer?

I just shot two thick coats of epoxy primer on a firewall and now I have to lay down some seam sealer in a few areas. I will red scuff pad the areas before the seam sealer, but then I was planning to just leave it at that since it's a firewall and the seam sealer color matches the epoxy. Is that ok to do or do I have to cover up the seam sealer with another coat of epoxy? Thanks!

If you're happy with the way it looks, leave it, if not put a coat of epoxy over it.

I was going to ask a similar question. I'm using 3m 08308 heavy bodied seam sealer. Label says it is epoxy based. Is it OK to spray SPI bedliner over it, or do I need a coat of epoxy over the seam sealer first?

Or, is SPI bedliner good enough to NOT use a seam sealer on the floor pans?

Thanks.
