mequiars gold class liquid wax

anyone know if this stuff is a true wax? Reason i ask is, its about the best stuff that i have found next to the mequiars #7 glaze to put on black cars. But i have no idea if its just a carnauba type wax or a true wax/sealent.This is the liquid, not the paste type.

Want to use it on the vette before it leaves but unsure about it...says it has carnauba and polymer protecting agents in it. Its been approx. 45 days since painted and has cooked outside a few days during cut and buffing.

appreciate any help!!

i dont like anything but canuba wax for a good long while . just dont trust sealing up a new paint job with polycoat . maybe barry can be a little more scientific about .

I always thought Mothers Gold was way better and better looking than anything Mequiars has,,on my camaro i tried Mequiars and turned around and strpped it off and put Mothers back on it. and i always stripped and waxed 2 or 3 times a year on it,

I don't know if it is a true wax or not but the gold glass stuff smells good. Never thought wax would smell good but that stuff smells like grapes. I use colinite double coat wax. Lasts much longer than the gold class or tech wax from meguirs but it's a lot more work as it sets up hard. I always wait a year before I wax a project car. Usually a light buff and wax after a year brings back the perfection and retains it.
