Maximum pearl load

Is there any such thing? I imagine there's a point where the binder just won't hold any more at which point adding any more would just be throwing money away. Correct?
I'm going to be spraying what is referred to as a black chameleon pearl and will be mixing the dry pearl with SPI intercoat. The website suggests 5-10 grams per gallon yet I notice all their other chameleon pearls require a lot more per gallon. I feel like maybe there's some details I'm missing when it comes to playing with dry pearls.

Pearl to BC, CC, intercoat. Can be all over the place from grams to multiple ounces per gallon. Or even per quart. For custom work, It just depends on how you want it to look. Or going by the manufacturers recommendation for a specific out come. The more pearl you use, the more noticeable the effect or flop will be. If you really use a lot. It will get to a point of saturation. And start adding actual coverage. If its way too saturated, it can sometimes make the mid-coat look milky or hazy. Depending on the exact type or pearl.

In production, you mix it per the formula. For a specific color, effect.
