Let's see everyone's junk collector .....AKA your work bench!!

Robert I've got a big bag from Peter. Bigger than what he sells now. Size of a small couch.:) Filled it with river sand. Needed to move it off the top of the table, had to call a buddy to help me move the darn thing. Gotta weigh every bit of 150 pounds.

For a size reference the table (two put together) is overall 72” left to right and 50” deep. If this bag gets moved it will involve the front end loader on my tractor. Made it up for one of Peter’s classes here at the shop. He rode with me to the upholster’s to drop off the cow hide to get it made.

Ok, I feel I must explain as this is so bad.
First, here is a picture from the house camera this morning; this is my play house, and no one goes in it but me and grandson if he wants to play in a car or get one of his electric vehicles out.
I want that mirka cabinet

I thought mine was big. Jeez!

Okay, I swallowed my pride and took some pictures.
Here is a quick tour of my 1200 sq. ft. garage.

I also have an 8x12 storage shed with GTX parts in it AND a 10 x15 shed full of stuff.

I use to brag how that it was a mess but I know where everything is. Can't make that boast anymore.
Hoping to finish off a customer project here soon and then I can start sorting things out and work on my GTX.

So now you can all breathe easier about your cluttered areas. LOL

I am planning another long ride on that Harley later this year. Get aways on the bike are a great source of relaxation. Now the sandblast cabinet is tedious to maintain and operate but it keeps the mess making down considerably.

There was a moment in the distant past when my garage bench looked like this.

A moment later the pile of crap behind me fell and I haven't been able to find the bench since.

I do manage to park the CTS-V and the driver Corvette in the garage (along with the '72 Corvette project).

This is funny that this thread came back up. I just redid my setup again this weekend. I found some flaws when I set the garage up years ago and with the new setup I decided to add to my work bench and move it.

Old Setup:

The backroom was basically useless for anything other than storage:

Now, I have the beck on the back wall, built a bench in the back room. Waiting on the divider curtain to show up and going to carpet the one side(paint area) tomorrow. Gonna finish putting everything away today and patch all of the unused holes and give the walls a fresh coat of paint.
