Hi everyone,

I am migrating over to DA from Rotary. I have a hook and loop backing pad on my machine. I ordered some DuraGold wet sand discs and discovered they are ADHESIVE back film. So my question is, What goes between the sticky side of the disc and the hook and loop of my DA? I don't even know where or what I should be looking for?

As always, your willingness to share your vast knowledge is appreciated.

Adhesive pad is called PSA. There are conversion pads to go from Hook and Loop to PSA.
Here is an example on Amazon. Many others available in whatever size needed.
(They also make pads to go from PSA to Hook and Loop)

On a DA or Random Orbital sander you can simply switch pads. Never used or seen in use what Dean linked to.
Now I have multiple sanders so I don't need to switch pads but before I did, I would simply keep a PSA pad and a Hookit pad and switch when needed.

I've had terrible luck with dura gold paper when wet sanding 1500 -3000
